The first two are related, the third is not.
We got these CD’s sent to us by a guy named John Pennington and have been listening to them, and they’re super interesting. Mind blowing things about the Gospel. We listened to why the priesthood has been restricted, which was super cool. If you’re interested to find out about them, they’re at a website called mrmormon.com.
Talked to twenty people, which was awesome, but as far as we know, nothing has come from it yet…. We’re hoping, though.
We listened to John Pennington’s “Was Adam Set Up to Fail?” talk, and that was amazing. That answered so many questions, and even gave me insight I never had even considered. I don’t know how amazing it would be for a FHE idea, but if you think it could work, do it. It’s deep stuff, but it’s sooo interesting. At the very least, everyone needs to listen to that one. I’ll attach it in the e-mail.
Other than that, I went on exchanges with Elder Lanier. He’s awesome. So is Elder Gibbons. Our p-day ride is just the best. We played a lot of games in our down time, but other than that, not much happened.
However, I may have gotten to shoot Brother Haas’ bow after dinner, which may have been glorious.
Again, really not much happened. We visited Matt Garza, who is as crazy as before. Still wants to date 20 year olds at 45 and still wants to get plastic surgery. But, he did end up coming to the
horseshoe tournament today! He said he really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it too, but I was pitted against Bishop, who is the only person who can beat Dan. I surprisingly, however, didn’t do terrible! It was 12 to 15 by the end of the game.
Elder Brown got this board game called Dominion, which we played a bit of. It’s interesting.
Had dinner with the Andersen family, and they unfolded some deep not-sure-if-doctrine. That’s just the only occurrence that took place, so that’s all there is to say about the day, hahah. Well, work is hard here, but we’ll keep trying. We’ll find the Lord’s Prepared eventually.
Thanks, everyone, for reading. I hope you all have a phantasmagorical week.
