First week with the greenie of an AP.
Had a district meeting, as per the … how would you type out the shortened version of usual that is spelled phonetically like the “youjz”. Frick. That probably just looks like a bunch of gibberish.
After district meeting, we went to Wendy’s grabbed up some of that grand 4-for-$4 deal and went to the Mojave River elders’ place to play an actually really cool card game Elder Gibbons invented. We each had two candles that we were trying to protect while also trying to put out each others candles/beacons with other cards.
Other than that, just talked to peeps and had a dinner with the Mason fam.
Elder Gibbons’ card game inspired me to make a card game myself, which was quite the task. I finished the game on Thursday, but here is all the work I put into it.
Yeah, it was a LOT of drawing. The hardest part was easily all the dragons with names down at the bottom.
Also went to Lord’s Table. I served doughnuts, which was possibly the easiest job in the history of mankind.
Finished the card game, obviously, and just biked a boatload. We intended to go to squash, but didn’t get to because of so many things that threw themselves at our plans, like wrenches and goatheads, but mostly goatheads with a serious lack of wrenches.
We were supposed to have an appointment with Yesenia, but that fell through. I promise she still seems like the most genuine gal in the world, though! She wants more stuff to read and we told her about conference and she said she would definitely watch it!
Other than that, just visited President Kirby and the funniest guy on earth, also known as the illustrious Brother Moore.
Conference. I really liked how much it focused on sharing the gospel and stuff. It was a really good weekend!
Everyone should take Elder Rasband’s challenge. Doesn’t sound hard at all.
Anyway, yeah, it was a weird week. Hopefully things will go well for me and Elder Francis. Keep praying for this area! Thanks, everyone! Have a good week!
Elder Jensen out.
